Yobe Photographer Breaks World Record with 897 Photos in 60 Minutes

In an impressive feat, Yobe-based photographer Saidu Abdulrahman has captured 897 pictures in just 60 minutes, aiming to surpass the existing Guinness World Record of 500 photos. The record-breaking attempt took place on September 25, 2024, in the Potiskum Local Government Area of Yobe State, witnessed by government officials, students, and supporters.

At just 28 years old, Abdulrahman shared that this achievement was the culmination of 12 months of preparation. Despite facing various challenges, he exceeded his initial goal of 600 photos, demonstrating remarkable dedication and skill.

“I snapped 897 pictures in one hour, surpassing our target of 600 despite numerous challenges,” he stated, expressing optimism about receiving formal recognition from the Guinness World Record.

Abdulrahman’s achievement not only highlights his talent but also aims to elevate Yobe’s profile on the global stage, showcasing the creativity and determination of its residents.
