Popular Nigerian actor and movie producer Yemi Solade has revealed the secrets behind his lasting 21-year marriage to his wife, Hannah. The couple, who tied the knot in September 2003, credit much of their marital success to Hannah’s unwavering support.
In an interview with Seun Oluketuyi TV, Solade described Hannah as the backbone of their relationship. “I give it to my wife. She manages me very well. She is incredibly tolerant and sacrifices more than anyone I know. She is truly God-sent,” he shared.
He emphasized that Hannah understands his circumstances, whether he is thriving or struggling, and appreciates her non-materialistic nature. “Her prayers for me mean everything,” he added.
Solade also highlighted that the foundation of their successful marriage lies in the deep friendship they share, stating, “Marriage is more like friendship because it is a life contract.”
The couple met on the set of Wale Adenuga’s popular series “Super Story” and have since welcomed two children, Rola and Femi.
