Emmanuel Osahon Orobosa has revealed the reason for the creation of Nigeria Women Football League side, FC Robo Queens.
Osahon, who doubles as the owner and head coach of the Lagos club, said that the motive behind its creation was to make girls the breadwinners in the society.
He also stated the gesture instill believe in the girl child.
Recalled that FC Robo Queens was created 25 years ago and have produced notable names like Asisat Oshoala, Rasheedat Ajibade and Esther Sunday.
“The creation of FC Robo Queens is actually a calling and I want to give back to the society by removing girls from the street and making them being able to put food on people’s table in the society,” he told the club’s media.
“And giving them believe in their ability because in this part of the world we always look for quick way to make ends meet.
“As an individual financial backups has been the major problem but thank God I have been able to stand the test of time.”
