Controversial social media personality VeryDarkMan has launched a legal counterattack against Bobrisky, threatening a N1 billion countersuit after Bobrisky’s legal team demanded an apology for an alleged defamation claim. Bobrisky accused VeryDarkMan of posting an AI-generated audio designed to damage his reputation.
In a response on Instagram, VeryDarkMan stood by the recording, vowing to countersue Bobrisky for N1,000,000,020. He stated, “Bobrisky, did you not say you wanted to ‘Kpai’ yourself? Are you not doing it again? This time, they will exchange their credibility for my publicity as usual. I will make them regret this decision.”
He further claimed, “Did Bobrisky later pay someone N3 million when he did not get it from Falz? I can stand for myself anywhere. Bobrisky has sued me for N1 billion, but I will escalate it to N1,000,000,020, with a N20 gain. I will make all of you look foolish in this country.”
The background to this dispute involves Bobrisky’s earlier legal troubles; in April, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested him on charges of money laundering and Naira mutilation. While some charges were dismissed, he received a six-month sentence for Naira abuse. Shortly after his release, VeryDarkMan posted a leaked audio recording of Bobrisky discussing alleged extortion by EFCC officials.
This ongoing feud between the two influencers has captured significant attention on social media, with relevant authorities continuing their investigations.
