Controversial internet personality Very Dark Man (VDM) has intensified his criticism of celebrities who financially supported crossdresser Bobrisky following his recent release from prison. VDM, who had previously expressed disdain over the donations Bobrisky received, has continued to question the implications of such support.

In a video posted on August 25, 2024, VDM responded to comments he received on his earlier video, where some dismissed his concerns by stating, “Is it your money?” VDM argued that while it is indeed the celebrities’ money, the broader impact of their actions on society should not be ignored.

He suggested that allowing such sponsorships could have detrimental effects, positing that it might influence young people in harmful ways. “If we are going by that, by now this country won’t be the way it is. There are some people waiting to use their own money to sponsor the buying of Igbo’s, there are people waiting to sponsor the buying of Hausa’s and Yoruba’s in this country. Yes, it is their money but should we let them?”

VDM also criticized the message that supporting figures like Bobrisky might send to the youth, implying that it could encourage harmful behaviors. He further asserted that societal responsibility should extend beyond personal financial decisions, emphasizing the need for a collective effort to foster a better society.

His comments come in the wake of notable celebrities, including Don Jazzy and Tiwa Savage, gifting Bobrisky substantial amounts of money, which has sparked considerable debate.
