The Urhobo Youth Council (UYC) has congratulated Hon Abubakar Momoh on his appointment as Minister of the newly created Ministry of Regional Development.
Chief Peter Aghogho, the President of the UYC and a former militant “general,” praised President Bola Tinubu for reappointing Momoh, who previously served as Minister of the Ministry of Niger Delta.
It is important to note that during a recent cabinet reshuffle, President Tinubu scrapped the Ministry of Niger Delta, which was led by Momoh. As Minister of the newly established Ministry of Regional Development, Hon Momoh will have the expanded responsibility of overseeing the operations of various regional development commissions.
Aghogho emphasized that this new assignment reflects the president’s confidence in Momoh’s efficiency and capability to fulfill the new mandate effectively.
