At the funeral service held at the All Saints Military Protestant Church, Mogadishu Cantonment, Abuja, Chief of Administration (Army), Major General Ohwohigho Akpor, described the late general as a brilliant, diligent, and resourceful officer with exceptional moral standards.
General Akpor praised Musa’s commitment to national service and his role in training personnel in the Directorate of Army Legal Services, noting that he provided vital guidance on legal matters throughout his career. The ceremony included a 21-gun salute, the laying of wreaths, and the presentation of the national flag to the next of kin by the Chief of Army Staff, represented by Major General Abdulsalami Ibrahim.
Born on May 4, 1968, in Okpella, Edo State, Major General Musa was commissioned on September 25, 1993, and rose to the rank of Major General, serving as Director of Legal Services (Army) until his death on September 23, 2024. The interment was attended by senior military officers, including representatives from the Nigerian Bar Association, family, friends, and sympathizers
