President Bola Tinubu has lauded the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) for significantly enhancing the economic partnership between Africa and China, which has reached approximately $280 billion. Speaking at the 2024 FOCAC Summit in Beijing, Tinubu emphasized that FOCAC, established in 2000, has been crucial in strengthening ties and promoting mutual progress. He highlighted the growth of economic relations, driven by trust, respect, and a shared vision for future development. Tinubu also underscored the importance of maintaining momentum through peaceful dialogue, transparent practices, and conflict resolution to ensure the continued success of the partnership.
