A Nigerian man who decided to iron his outfits with shovel and firewood has gone viral online and by extension, got many talking online.
A video making the rounds online captured the man resorting to another means of ironing clothes instead of using electric iron.
The video quickly went viral online as many asserted that the lad was left with no option because he lives in an area with low band.
It can be recalled that the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has classified Nigerians into band A to E.
Band A customers are expected to receive between 20 and 24 hours of electricity supply daily. Those under B enjoy 16 to 20 hours of power supply and those in Band C receive 12 to 16 hours daily. Those in Band D will utilize 8 hours light while Band E will use 4 hours daily.
However, the man seems like he could not wait for electricity to power his iron. He meticulously make used of shovel and firewood to press his clothes.
He was seen clutching a small iron shovel with a cluster of lit sticks attached to it, using its bottom to press his white attire.
