Nigerian businessman Obi Cubana has addressed the disturbing rumors about him allegedly using his wife, Ebele, for rituals during her illness. In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Cubana detailed the painful period when his wife suffered a severe health crisis.
Cubana revealed that after Ebele gave birth to their child, Alex, she developed a mysterious illness on Valentine’s Day. Despite their efforts to manage the situation, her condition worsened, leading to her collapse. They rushed her to a top hospital in Abuja, where a CT scan uncovered a cyst in her brain affecting the nerves on one side of her body.
During this challenging time, Cubana was also expanding his business empire, including his Cubana ventures, which led to false accusations. Some speculated that his financial success was linked to ritualistic practices involving his wife.
Cubana recounted, “People started saying things, with some even suggesting that I used my wife for JuJu. It was disheartening to hear this from so-called friends. My primary concern was my wife’s health. She was treated in South Africa, and despite initial fears that she would not walk again or have more children, she defied the odds. Today, she’s fully recovered, and we have three more children.”
He concluded by emphasizing his wife’s resilience and their journey through the ordeal.
