TG OMORI TO RETURN TO MUSIC VIDEO DIRECTION IN 2025 AFTER KIDNEY TRANSPLANT FAILURE

Ace music video director, ThankGod Jesam, popularly known as TG Omori, has reassured fans that he will return to directing music videos in 2025. This announcement comes after a challenging period in his health journey, which he shared on X (formerly Twitter).

On August 27, TG Omori revealed that he had experienced a failed kidney transplant despite his brother donating a kidney to save his life. He expressed gratitude for surviving the procedure at St. Nicolas Hospital in Lagos, asking for prayers from his supporters. He wrote: “Yesterday, my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again. One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant. Pray for me.”

A few days later, Omori updated his fans, sharing that he was feeling better and couldn’t wait to get back to work, saying: “Up and grateful o lord. Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes… I’ll continue the fight.”

On September 23, TG Omori shared more positive news, expressing optimism about overcoming his health struggles and declaring that he will return to making music videos in 2025. He tweeted, “Pain has no power over me… I’ll be back 2025. Stay in love!”

TG Omori, 29, is known for working with top Nigerian artists, including Wizkid, Burna Boy, Olamide, Kizz Daniel, Falz, and Timaya. Fans and colleagues alike continue to wish him well as he focuses on recovery.
