TARA DAVIS-WOODHALL NOMINATED FOR FIRST WORLD ATHLETICS AWARDS

Paris Olympic champion Tara Davis-Woodhall has earned her first nomination for the World Athletics Awards following an exceptional 2024 season. The American long jump queen is among five nominees for the Women’s Field Athlete of the Year.

According to World Athletics, the nominees were chosen by an international panel of athletics experts, representing all six continental areas of the governing body. Davis-Woodhall’s standout performances this season include her victories as the Olympic long jump champion and the world indoor champion. She also recorded the highest number of 7-meter jumps by any female athlete this season.
