The Youth Wing Mobilisation Vanguard of the APC has issued a stern warning to PDP supporters against interfering in the party’s activities in the North-West states. The group’s Chairman, Alhaji Ashiru Tukur, criticized PDP supporters for alleged attempts to tarnish the reputation of Minister of State for Defence, Alhaji Bello Matawalle, with accusations of political harassment.
Tukur described these allegations as baseless political propaganda intended to damage the APC-led administration’s image. He advised the PDP to focus on addressing its internal issues rather than creating political instability in the North-West. Tukur accused the PDP of trying to incite conflict and tension, which he said undermines efforts to address regional challenges such as insecurity and poverty.
He called for an apology to Matawalle and urged him to continue his work diligently.
