The Senator representing Rivers East, Senator Allwell Onyesoh, has firmly refuted allegations linking him and his supporters to the killing of an OSPAC vigilante member in Umuayagu village, Etche Local Government Area. Through a statement from his media aide, Peter Oriri, Senator Onyesoh condemned the spread of misinformation, expressing his dismay at attempts to tarnish his image. He clarified that reports circulating on social media and certain online platforms are false and malicious.

Senator Onyesoh explained that he has remained in his Port Harcourt residence since arriving in Rivers State, with no involvement in any local government election activities. He expressed shock at the disinformation campaign against him and vowed to take legal action against those spreading these rumors.

He reassured the public that Etche has been peaceful since his arrival and pledged to work with security agencies to investigate the incident if it occurred. Onyesoh urged the public to disregard the false reports and warned those spreading fake news to stop or face legal consequences.

Senator Onyesoh remains committed to serving Rivers East with integrity and promoting peace and development in the region.
