Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos has expressed his condolences to Akwa Ibom Governor Pastor Umo Eno following the death of his wife, Pastor Patience Umo Eno. She passed away on Thursday at the age of 57 after a brief illness, surrounded by family.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Sanwo-Olu described the loss as a significant one, emphasizing the emotional weight of losing a loved one. He extended his sympathies to the people of Akwa Ibom and highlighted Pastor Patience’s impact through her humanitarian efforts, particularly with the Golden Initiative For All (GIFA), which supported many in the community. Sanwo-Olu urged Governor Eno to find solace in God’s presence and noted that Pastor Patience was widely admired for her compassion and dedication. He prayed for her eternal rest and for the strength of the grieving family.
