“Rick Ross Sued for Failing to Provide Wheelchair Accessibility at Car & Bike Show”
American rapper Rick Ross is being sued by Darris Straughter, a disabled man who alleges that the artist’s Car & Bike Show at his Fayetteville estate was not wheelchair accessible. Straughter, who is paralyzed from a spinal cord injury, had informed organizers of his needs in advance but found no accommodations upon arrival.
He claims that despite promises of refunds, he received no compensation. The lawsuit, filed under breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and ADA violations, seeks damages and a court order for future events to ensure proper accessibility.
