Ramsey Nouah’s latest directorial venture, Tòkunbọ̀, is set to premiere on Netflix on August 23, 2024. This marks Nouah’s third feature film as a director, following Living in Bondage: Breaking Free and Rattle Snake: The Ahanna Story.

Ramsey Nouah’s Background

  • Directorial Career: Nouah made his directorial debut with Living in Bondage: Breaking Free in 2019, a successful remake of the 1992 classic. He followed this with Rattle Snake: The Ahanna Story, another well-received remake.
  • Acting Career: Nouah began his career in the early 1990s with the soap opera Fortunes. He has since appeared in various films including End of the Wicked, Battle of Love, Power of Love, Blood Sisters, and Merry Men. In 2010, he won the Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAA) for Best Actor in a Leading Role for The Figurine.
