PRESIDENT TINUBU CONDOLES WITH NNPCL CEO KOLOR MELE KYARI OVER DAUGHTER’S DEATH

President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences to Mr. Kolo Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), following the death of his daughter, Fatima, who passed away on Friday at the age of 25 after a prolonged illness.

In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu sympathized with Kyari and the family on the “irreparable and painful loss.” The President offered prayers for the repose of Fatima’s soul and encouraged the Kyari family to remain strong during this challenging time.

Vice President Kashim Shettima also extended his condolences, praying for Fatima’s peaceful repose and asking God to grant the family strength to cope with their painful loss. The Vice President was among the mourners who attended the funeral prayers held at the Annur Mosque in Abuja.
