Nigerian singer Portable has stirred controversy once again, this time by ordering his associates to beat a car dealer who failed to deliver his new vehicle from the US.

In a recent livestream, Portable was seen aggressively confronting the car dealer, who was visibly distressed and sitting on the floor, pleading with the singer. Portable, visibly enraged, shouted, “Where is my car? I will destroy your life. Where is my car? Are you trying to kill me or scam me? Where is my car?”

The singer expressed his frustration over the delay, revealing that he had paid for the car shipment two months ago, yet the vehicle had not arrived. Portable explained that he was expecting to pick up the car and make a social media post about it, but was met with excuses from the dealer.

“He helped me ship my car from America; it has been two months and I have not seen my car. I was supposed to pick the car up yesterday and make my social media post, but he has been lying to me. He first said that the car was picked up by customs, but when we got there, we didn’t see them,” Portable said.

In his rage, Portable demanded further action and instructed his men to beat the dealer, saying, “Why couldn’t you use a caterpillar to bring it, a car you brought all the way from America? You people should beat him, beat him black and blue. Where is my car?!”

This incident follows recent backlash Portable received for slapping a preacher who was preaching in front of his bar. On August 9, 2024, Portable had chased the preacher away, claiming that the sermon was disturbing his customers.
