Controversial singer Portable has issued another emotional apology to the preacher he assaulted last week.
The ‘Zazoo Zeh’ artist confronted and slapped a man who had come to preach at his bar in Ogun State, causing a social media uproar. Gospel artist Testimony Jaga had also given Portable a three-day ultimatum to apologize for his actions.
In a recent video, Portable, visibly emotional and kneeling, broke down in tears while expressing deep remorse. Surrounded by supporters chanting, “God is the King. Jesus is here,” Portable apologized to all pastors worldwide and acknowledged his mistake.
Jaga, present at Portable’s bar, conveyed, “I want to say this to all pastors around the world. I am your son. My brother here is your son. Whatever wrong he has done, we are sorry.”
Earlier, Portable had apologized publicly, stating that he would not have slapped the preacher if he had known he was a “true man of God.” He admitted his reaction stemmed from a belief that the man intended to cause him spiritual harm.
