PAUL OKOYE (RUDEBOY) SHARES HUMOROUS TAKE ON HANDLING TROLLS

< 1 mn read

Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, known as Rudeboy, recently shared a lighthearted approach to dealing with online trolls and haters on his Instagram story. On September 26, 2024, he humorously advised his followers to engage with trolls, saying, “Sometimes be nice to these trolls… listen to them, they will tell you their frustrations… then ask them to send their account details, give them hope B and when they send it… insult their papa!! W… and block them.”

His playful post generated mixed reactions, with some users agreeing with his perspective while others criticized it. One user echoed his sentiment, recounting their own experiences with trolls, while others urged a more positive approach to handling negativity.

Rudeboy’s perspective stands in contrast to fellow Nigerian artist Chike, who recently made headlines for sending ₦1 million to a Twitter troll in a bid to silence criticism. Rudeboy, however, made it clear he isn’t taking that route.
