Oyakhire Halima Sadia, a standout student from the Department of Petroleum Engineering at Covenant University, has been recognized as the best graduating student in her department for the 2023/2024 academic session, achieving an impressive Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.91.
Her outstanding academic performance earned her two prestigious awards and a cash prize of N150,000, courtesy of the university’s alumni investiture. Halima expressed her joy at earning her degree despite balancing leadership roles and extracurricular activities alongside her rigorous academic workload.
Looking ahead, Halima is determined to establish herself as a leader in the oil and gas sector, particularly in driving innovation and sustainability. In addition to her aspirations in the energy industry, she also expressed her passion for the fashion industry and hopes to bring her unique ideas into that space.
Halima plans to further her education in the energy sector, gain experience in business development and management, and eventually launch her own fashion line alongside her oil and gas company.
