OUSMANE DEMBELE LEFT OUT OF PSG SQUAD FOR CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MATCH

France forward Ousmane Dembele has been excluded from Paris Saint-Germain’s (PSG) squad for their upcoming Champions League match against Arsenal on Tuesday. According to a source close to the club, Dembele’s absence is not due to injury but rather “a decision of the coach,” Luis Enrique.

This decision appears to stem from a disciplinary issue following a heated exchange between Dembele and Enrique after PSG’s 3-1 victory over Rennes in Ligue 1 on Friday, as reported by sports daily L’Equipe.

Without the in-form Dembele, who has scored four goals and provided four assists in just six league appearances this season, PSG will look to Bradley Barcola to step up. Barcola is currently the leading scorer in the French top flight, with six goals, including two in the recent match against Rennes.

Additionally, Marco Asensio is facing a race against time to recover from an injury sustained during PSG’s Champions League opener against Girona two weeks ago, adding further uncertainty to the team’s attacking options.
