OLAM AGRI ANNOUNCES BACK-TO-SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP INITIATIVE

Olam Agri, a leading agribusiness in Nigeria known for its work in food, feed, and fibre, has unveiled a significant back-to-school scholarship initiative through its Integrated Feed & Animal Protein (IFP) unit. This program is part of Olam Agri’s Seeds for the Future (SFTF) initiative and aims to support the children of its employees and members of its host communities in Ilorin and Kaduna.

The scholarships cover various educational expenses, including tuition, books, and uniforms, reflecting Olam Agri’s dedication to community development and the advancement of local education.

Amit Agarwal, Business Head of Integrated Feed & Protein at Olam Agri, highlighted the importance of education, saying, “We believe education is a fundamental right and a powerful tool for unlocking potential. By providing educational opportunities, we are helping to build a more sustainable and progressive future for the beneficiaries,” he said.

Nair also noted that Olam Agri’s commitment extends beyond financial aid to include school infrastructure improvements, teacher training, and literacy initiatives.
