Nollywood actresses Genoveva Umeh and Uche Montana have received nominations for the 18th edition of The Future Awards Africa (TFAA) Prize for Acting. This prestigious awards initiative aims to recognize young individuals between the ages of 18 and 31 who have made remarkable achievements in various fields over the past year.
About the Nominees:
- Genoveva Umeh: A British-Nigerian actress known for her breakout role in Nigeria’s first Netflix original series, Blood Sisters. Umeh has also won accolades, including the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2024 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) for her performance in Breath of Life, a Prime Video Original.
- Uche Montana: An experienced actress with an impressive filmography that includes titles like The Betrayed, Wedding Night Blues, A Silent Intruder, Seven, and Banana Island Ghost.
