The Nigeria Aviation Handling Company Plc (nahco aviance) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Suzhou Chamber of International Commerce to promote economic collaboration and boost bilateral trade and investment between Nigeria and China.
This initiative aims to establish the China-Nigeria (Suzhou) Logistics Park, designed to facilitate seamless trade, improve logistics infrastructure, and create increased investment opportunities.
Dr. Seinde Fadeni, Chairman of NAHCO Plc, commented on the agreement, stating, “This agreement represents a pivotal moment for NAHCO and indeed for Nigeria. By collaborating with the Suzhou Chamber of International Commerce, we are opening new avenues for knowledge exchange, technology transfer, and economic growth.”
Mr. Lin Xie, President of the Suzhou Chamber of International Commerce, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, noting, “We are delighted to enter into this cooperation with NAHCO. This partnership aligns with China’s commitment to fostering mutually beneficial relationships with African nations.”
As a hub for China’s agricultural modernization, consumer goods, electronic appliances, cloud computing, and transportation, Suzhou will play a central role in this initiative, enhancing robust economic exchanges between China and Nigeria. The MoU emphasizes the growing commitment to improving logistics infrastructure and expanding investment opportunities in both countries.
