Lawal Michael Nasiru Bolaji, popularly known as Nasboi, is a fast-rising Nigerian talent blending comedy and Afrobeat music. Born in 1992 in Port Harcourt, Nasboi was influenced by legendary artists like 2Face Idibia and Davido, fueling his passion for music. After completing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Uyo, Nasboi ventured into the music scene, releasing his debut single Lover Boy in 2023.
Following the success of singles such as Umbrella featuring Wande Coal and Small Money, Nasboi dropped his debut EP, In Nasboi I Trust (I.N.I.T). The EP is a vibrant mix of life, love, and self-expression, featuring collaborations with Chike, 2Baba, Falz, and Joeboy. Standout tracks like Ajo and Could This Be Love showcase Nasboi’s storytelling, where he explores themes of love, devotion, and vulnerability, using vivid metaphors like comparing love to sweet delicacies.
