“Nabila Takes Legal Action: Plans to Sue Ex-Husband Oritsefemi for Defamation Over 21 Miscarriages Claim”

2 mn read

Nabila Fash’s decision to pursue legal action against her ex-husband, Oritsefemi, for defamation is a significant step in protecting her reputation and addressing the serious allegations made against her. Oritsefemi’s claim, made in a recent interview, alleging that Nabila had experienced 21 miscarriages during their relationship, is not only deeply personal but also potentially damaging to her character and well-being.

By choosing to sue for defamation, Nabila is asserting her right to challenge the validity of Oritsefemi’s statements and seeking legal recourse for the harm caused by the public airing of such sensitive information. Miscarriages are a deeply emotional and often private matter for individuals and couples, and the public disclosure of such experiences without consent can compound the pain and trauma associated with them.

Beyond the specific claim of miscarriages, Nabila’s legal action likely extends to other remarks made by Oritsefemi that she perceives as defamatory. These may include additional comments made during the interview or statements made elsewhere that have contributed to her tarnished reputation or caused her undue distress.

The decision to pursue legal recourse underscores the seriousness of the situation and the importance of holding individuals accountable for their words, particularly when they have the potential to inflict harm on others. Nabila’s actions also serve as a reminder of the need to respect the privacy and dignity of individuals, especially when discussing sensitive and personal matters in a public forum.

As the legal proceedings unfold, Nabila will likely seek damages for any harm caused by Oritsefemi’s statements, as well as a retraction or correction of the defamatory remarks. The outcome of the case will not only have implications for Nabila and Oritsefemi but also for the broader conversation surrounding privacy rights and the responsibilities of individuals when discussing personal matters in the public sphere.

He had said …

“Nabila had 21 miscarriages, yet she still tells me, Oritsefemi, that I can’t impregnate her. My wife asked her friends to come and beat me up in my house. I said, ‘Look at me, lion, women they pursue’. They are up to 20, and they beat, and I’m not lying.”

His ex-wife, Nabila, however, denied the accusations through Rockson Igelige of Rockson Legal, her attorney.

Mr. Igelige provided PREMIUM TIMES with an official statement on Tuesday, as well as a copy of a cease-and-desist letter delivered to Oritsefemi.

“We write to you to cease further defamation of and threats to our client. You know for a fact that the above-quoted statements, amongst others, that you made during the said interview are all concocted lies designed to disparage, tarnish, and damage our client’s character and to bring her to public ridicule and hostility.

“This is so as our client did not at any time send any of her friends to beat you up nor had 21 miscarriages during her now judicially dissolved marriage to you. Our client takes exception to your defamatory aspersions designed to taint and destroy her reputation,” the statement partly read.
