Nabila Fash, the former spouse of Nigerian singer Oritsefemi, has taken legal action against the musician, issuing a cease and desist letter in response to defamatory statements made against her.
In a recent interview with media personality Jude Chidonwo, Oritsefemi accused Nabila of betraying him, alleging that she falsely accused him of infidelity, claimed to have experienced numerous miscarriages during their marriage, and orchestrated a physical assault against him with a group of friends.
However, Nabila has refuted these claims, dismissing them as fabrications and lies. In an interview with celebrity journalist Stella Dimoko Korkus, she urged the public to disregard Oritsefemi’s statements.
In the cease and desist letter obtained by the aforementioned publication, Nabila reiterated that Oritsefemi’s allegations were baseless and intended to damage her reputation. She warned the singer to refrain from further defamatory acts and retract his statements within 14 days. Additionally, she emphasized that their marriage had been legally dissolved by the High Court of Lagos State on March 21, 2024, and urged Oritsefemi to cease referring to her as his wife. Failure to comply would result in legal action against him.
