KATSINA POLICE AWARDS N500,000 TO FAMILIES OF FALLEN OFFICERS

The Katsina State Police Command has awarded N500,000 each to the families of seven police officers who were tragically killed while combating bandits in the state.

ASP Sadiq Abubakar, Spokesperson of the Command, announced that this financial support was provided by the Katsina State Government as a token of honor and appreciation for the sacrifices made by the fallen officers.

The presentation ceremony took place at the Katsina Police Command Headquarters, where Deputy Commissioner of Police Administration, DCP Aminu Usman Gusau, handed over the cash gifts to the bereaved families on behalf of Commissioner of Police, CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa.

DCP Gusau extended condolences to the grieving families and assured them of the command’s continued support, acknowledging the selfless services of the deceased officers.

The Command also praised the administration led by Dikko Radda for its commitment to the welfare of the families of officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the ongoing fight against kidnapping and banditry in the state. The event was attended by command officers and the families of the fallen heroes.
