Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, has stated his intention to remain neutral in resolving the party’s internal disputes. He made these comments after meeting with the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) National Transition Committee at the Labour House in Abuja.
Obi emphasized his commitment to impartiality despite criticism and allegations that external forces were influencing the party’s crisis. He expressed confidence in resolving the issues amicably for the greater interest of Nigerians, shifting the focus from internal party wrangling to addressing pressing national issues like healthcare, education, food security, and poverty alleviation.
His stance reflects a dedication to public service and prioritizing the welfare of Nigerians above political disagreements within the Labour Party.
