Hazel Onuo, popularly known as Whitemoney, winner of Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eyes, has spoken out about the ongoing protests in Nigeria.

In an Instagram story, he clarified that he is not responsible for the current issues Nigerians are facing and did not coerce anyone into voting for him during his time on the show. He emphasized that it has been over three years since he left the show and asked for space.

Whitemoney also stated that he is not an activist and does not plan to become one, advising those who dislike his content to unfollow him.

He said, “Dear Nigerians, I am not to blame for your current challenges, and I didn’t force anyone to vote for me during my BBN season. It’s been over three years—please let me be. I am not an activist and never will be. If you don’t like my content, feel free to unfollow or move on. Amen.”
