He clarified that he was not engaged in any financial dealings or infractions and expressed his intention to defend his reputation and innocence. His suspension, along with that of Hon. Damian Lawani, Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, is tied to serious allegations of official and financial misconduct. Governor Monday Okpebholo ordered the suspension to allow for a thorough investigation. The duo will remain suspended pending the outcome of the probe.
Osagie also emphasized that he had not been confronted with these allegations before the announcement of his suspension.
