Hezbollah has vowed to retaliate against Israel following a series of deadly explosions involving paging devices used by the militant group. The blasts, which occurred in Lebanon, resulted in the deaths of 12 individuals, including two children, and injured up to 2,800 others. Concerns are rising about a potential full-scale war as a result of this incident.

Israel has not issued a comment on the explosions. However, it had recently expanded its military operations to target Hezbollah as part of its broader conflict with Hamas, the Palestinian militant group behind the October 7 attacks.

Hezbollah has condemned Israel for what it describes as “criminal aggression” and has promised retaliation. The group, supported by Iran, has reported ongoing clashes with Israeli forces. Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah is expected to address the situation in a televised speech on Thursday.

Hospitals in Hezbollah strongholds are overwhelmed by the surge of casualties, with reports of severe injuries, including significant loss of sight due to shrapnel.
