Heineken, the world’s most international beer, took center stage at the 2024 Bole Festival, an electrifying annual celebration of food, culture, and community held in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Held over two days at Yakubu Gowon Stadium, the Bole Festival attracted thousands with its vibrant theme, “Rhythm and Vibration,” perfectly embodying Heineken’s commitment to delivering the ‘Good Times.’

As the largest food and fun event in South Nigeria, the festival honored ‘Bole,’ the beloved roasted plantain dish of the South-South region. Heineken’s presence enhanced the festival’s spirit of unity and celebration, making it even more memorable.

“Heineken was delighted to partner with the Bole Festival, which aligns with our dedication to delivering ‘Good Times,’” said Kola Akintimehin, Senior Brand Manager at Heineken, Nigerian Breweries Plc. “We experienced an incredible blend of culture, connection, and celebration, resonating with our brand’s aim to celebrate Nigeria’s dynamic culture and engage a diverse audience.”

Throughout the festival, Heineken’s influence was palpable—from engaging live music performances to the immersive Heineken beer village and delectable food exhibitions. The brand’s involvement fostered a sense of community and connection, reinforcing its dedication to celebrating local traditions and supporting community events.

As the festival wrapped up, it was clear that Heineken had significantly contributed to the success of the 2024 Bole Festival while deepening its bond with the community by celebrating Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage. With this year’s event being a great success, Heineken looks forward to more opportunities to unite people through food, fun, and music.
