Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann recently shared his thoughts on Real Madrid’s attacking trio of Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr., and Rodrygo. While he praised all three players, he expressed a special admiration for Rodrygo, highlighting his consistency and intelligence.
Speaking to DAZN Futbol, Griezmann said, “It’s difficult because Mbappe has been a teammate of mine, I enjoyed a lot alongside him, we won a World Cup together. Vinicius, I think he is a very tough player in the sense that he will always dribble past you, always dangerous, and that is what I like about him.”
However, Griezmann noted that he has a “soft spot” for Rodrygo, praising the Brazilian’s calm demeanor and versatility. “He seems to be a very intelligent player, very calm. It doesn’t matter where he plays, left or right or in the middle, he will always perform at 100 percent, and that is why he draws my attention.”
Rodrygo has been in excellent form for Real Madrid this season, scoring over 13 goals and registering eight assists in 38 games across all competitions since joining from Santos in 2019.
