Grace Adayilo Appointed as First Female Head of Service for the FCT

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Grace Adayilo as the first female and indigenous Head of Service (HoS) of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This historic appointment marks a significant milestone, breaking gender and geographical barriers in the FCT’s history.

Adayilo’s appointment aligns with Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda,’ aimed at promoting inclusivity and representation within the government. She succeeds Dr. Atang Udo Samuel, and her new role takes effect immediately.

Upon her appointment, Adayilo expressed gratitude to President Tinubu and FCT Minister Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, pledging to align with the President’s agenda and enhance service delivery and governance in the FCT. Prior to this role, Adayilo served as the Permanent Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development, bringing extensive administrative experience to her new position
