Governor Fubara Warns New Commissioners and Advisers Against Misusing Positions for Personal Gain

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has sworn in five new commissioners and two special advisers, urging them to prioritize the needs of the people over personal economic gains. The newly appointed commissioners are Ilamu Abua, Dr. Roland Obed-Whyte, Austin Nadozie, Samuel Eyiba, and Dr. Samuel Anya, while Forgive Amachree and Achor Nna have been appointed as special advisers.

During the swearing-in ceremony, Governor Fubara emphasized the importance of working towards the objectives of his administration, which is focused on implementing projects that positively impact the lives of Rivers State residents. He reminded the new appointees that their roles are opportunities to serve the state and contribute to good governance.
