In a statement released by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, a letter of appreciation from Dr. Raji Michael, representing the Director General and Chief Executive of MINILS, emphasized Governor Yusuf’s landmark initiative to organize a capacity-building workshop for union leaders within the Kano State chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).

The workshop, titled “Conflict Management for Harmonious Industrial Labour Relations Environment,” aimed to equip union executives with practical conflict resolution strategies to enhance workplace harmony and productivity. Dr. Michael expressed gratitude for Governor Yusuf’s dedication to advancing workers’ education and efforts to create vibrant, responsive trade unions in Kano.
