Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), articulated the party’s strategic vision during a policy roundtable event titled “The Asiwaju Scorecard Series.” His remarks centered on the APC’s preparations for the 2027 elections and its commitment to grassroots expansion and party restructuring.

Ganduje emphasized the importance of building a truly grassroots progressive party, signaling a departure from traditional election-focused strategies. He outlined specific initiatives aimed at strengthening the party’s presence at the local level. One key directive from the National Working Committee (NWC) is for state chapters to collaborate with governors and other stakeholders to establish fully functional party offices in every political ward and state. The party’s restructuring efforts also include the establishment of reconciliation committees at various levels, from the national down to the ward level.
