Former Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) President and founder of GAWON Foundation, Takai Shamang, has been abducted from his residence in Biniki, Kaduna state. His daughter, Mrs. Grace Abbin, confirmed that the abduction took place around 8:00 pm on Friday. Shamang, aged 78, has a longstanding history of leadership in labor unions and is known for his charitable work through GAWON Foundation, which supports widows, orphans, and the needy.
