Nigerian musician Flavour headlined a sold-out concert at the 12,000-capacity OVO Wembley Arena on August 24, 2024, marking another significant achievement in his nearly two-decade-long career in the African music industry.

Flavour, who released his eighth project African Royalty in December 2023, captivated the audience with performances of hit songs from the album, including “Game Changer” and “Levels.”

The concert also featured guest performances from fellow Nigerian music stars Phyno, Falz, and Iyanya. Other notable attendees included socialite and businessman Cubana Chief Priest, The Plug co-founder and Davido’s manager Asa Asika, singer Chike, and Nigerian international footballer Alex Iwobi.

Flavour’s successful London concert underscores his status as one of Africa’s iconic artists. Throughout his career, he has earned numerous awards and recognition for his music, which blends African cultural elements, particularly Igbo indigenous sounds.

In a recent interview on Adesope Podcast, Flavour emphasized his identity as an African artist rather than just an Afrobeats artist, urging the media to focus on music across Africa as a whole. With this sold-out concert, Flavour joins Adekunle Gold and Kizz Daniel as Nigerian artists who have achieved the same feat at the OVO Wembley Arena in 2024.
