Flavour N’abania, the renowned Nigerian high-life musician, recently shared an intriguing story on the *In My Opinion* podcast about a significant moment in his career. He revealed that during a show in Enugu, where he was performing, he was asked to step down so that the popular music duo P-Square could take the stage.

Flavour recalled that the incident occurred when P-Square had just released their hit song “Temptation.” At the time, Flavour had already built a strong fan base and was performing regularly at a popular spot in City Centre, Enugu. The spot was known for drawing large crowds every weekend, regardless of other events in the city.

When P-Square arrived for their promotional show, the promoters requested Flavour to stop his performance to make way for the duo. According to Flavour, P-Square’s manager told him to turn off his performance and hand over the stage. Flavour complied, switching off his equipment and leaving the stage.

Paul Okoye of P-Square then took the microphone and began performing “Temptation,” causing an immediate and enthusiastic reaction from the audience. Flavour’s story highlights a pivotal moment when P-Square’s rising popularity significantly impacted his performance, marking an important chapter in both his career and the evolution of the Nigerian music scene.
