The drones will be distributed among the Police Commands in Ekiti and Ondo States, as well as the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Ondo State. The donation was made as part of the company’s 10th anniversary celebrations in Ondo State.

Ory Akinseloyin, the Managing Director of Boing Luxury Estates, emphasized that fighting crime is a collective responsibility, urging well-to-do individuals in the zone to contribute to making the region safer. He highlighted the importance of modern technology in crime-fighting, stating that traditional methods alone are no longer sufficient.

The company also committed to training six personnel from the police and NSCDC on how to effectively use the drones. Akinseloyin assured that if the drones are utilized effectively over the next six months, more drones would be provided to further enhance security operations in the zone.

Gbenga Atiba, the Senior Special Assistant on Security to the Ondo State governor, and AIG Abiodun Asabi, in charge of the Zone, expressed their gratitude for the donation, noting that it would significantly boost efforts to ensure the safety of residents. NSCDC Commandant in Ondo State, Oluyemi Ibiloye, added that the use of drones would improve the efficiency of security personnel and reduce crime rates in the area.
