In a recent interview on City FM, Fireboy shared his thoughts on the ongoing conflicts within the Nigerian music scene. He emphasized that disagreements among artists are a natural part of being human, stating, “Beef, everything is all normal. We are all human.”

Fireboy encouraged everyone to focus on their own paths, urging that artists should be allowed to create freely while fans and the media play their roles. “Let artists be artists, fans be fans, and the media keep telling the stories,” he said.

He also highlighted his desire to maintain a drama-free life, expressing that he prefers to mind his own business amid the industry’s tensions.

In addition to discussing conflicts, Fireboy spoke about his recently released fourth album, ‘Adedamola,’ which features collaborations with notable artists like Lagbaja, Jon Baptiste, Seun Kuti, and Spinall. He mentioned that the inclusion of Lagbaja and Seun Kuti was suggested by YBNL boss Olamide, who served as the album’s executive producer.

Conflict among artists is not new in the Nigerian music industry. The past few years have seen public disputes, including notable disagreements between Ruger and BNXN, as well as between Davido and Burna Boy, and more recently, between Wizkid and Davido.
