FIRE BREAKS OUT AT KWARA STATE HIGH COURT COMPLEX

A fire erupted at the Kwara State High Court Complex in Ilorin on Sunday night, damaging part of Courtroom No. 10. The blaze, which began around 8:02 PM, was attributed to a power surge, according to the State Fire Service.

Thanks to the swift action of firefighters, the fire was contained, preventing further damage to the complex.

Items lost in the incident included two air conditioners, a plasma TV, a fan, various documents, and furniture.

Hassan Adekunle, Head of Media and Publicity for the Kwara State Fire Service, praised the firefighters for their quick response. The Chief Judge of the state and the Special Adviser to the Governor also commended their efforts.

This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of prioritizing fire safety and remaining vigilant to prevent such outbreaks in the future.
