Former Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, ACP Chike Oti, has urgently requested financial assistance amounting to ₦25 million to undergo a kidney transplant. Oti, who has been diagnosed with fifth-stage renal failure, revealed the diagnosis was due to unmanaged high blood pressure.
In a statement released to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Oti disclosed that he is currently undergoing hemodialysis twice a week as his condition requires immediate intervention. He has already spent approximately ₦3.5 million over the past week for treatment but finds the ongoing costs beyond his financial capacity.
