On Saturday, during the #EndBadGovernance protest at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja, police officers fired at both protesters and media reporters.
The protesters, predominantly youths, had assembled at the officially designated site for the third day of the 10-day demonstration.
At around 11:45 am, heavily armed officers arrived at the scene and instructed everyone to disperse. When the protesters, who included journalists, did not comply, the police opened fire on them.
