The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has formed a disciplinary panel to investigate two officers accused of assaulting a woman during a raid on a hotel in Lagos. This panel, set up by EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede, includes members from the Appointment, Promotion and Disciplinary Committee (APDC) and the Department of Ethics and Integrity.

The officers, who were seen in a viral video assaulting a female staff member of the Regional Hotel in Ojo, Lagos, are required to appear before the panel on Monday, July 1, at the EFCC’s Corporate Headquarters in Abuja. According to EFCC Spokesman Dele Oyewale, the panel will thoroughly examine the case and recommend suitable disciplinary actions. Chairman Olukoyede emphasized that the commission is committed to holding the officers accountable for their unprofessional conduct.
