Nigerian-born forward Eberechi Eze has earned a place in the Three Lions’ provisional squad for the 2024 European Championship. After an exceptional Premier League season with Crystal Palace, Eze finds himself among coach Gareth Southgate’s 33-player provisional squad for Euro 2024, unveiled earlier today, May 21.

The 25-year-old attacking midfielder, who made his international debut for England on June 16, 2023, secured his spot in the provisional squad list by delivering 11 goals and 6 assists for Crystal Palace this season, impressing Southgate in the process.

Eze’s inclusion adds intrigue to the squad, as fans eagerly await the final selection for the tournament, set to commence in Germany on June 14, 2024.

While Eze celebrates his selection, notable England stars like Jordan Henderson, Marcus Rashford, and Raheem Sterling were surprised to find themselves excluded from the provisional squad.
